The following is a presentation that Stephen Ashkin will be delivering at the upcoming NFMT on March 10, 2015 in Baltimore, MD. Hope to see you there.
Over the past 10+ years, Green Cleaning has gone from niche to mainstream resulting in increased demand in almost every product category, which in turn has resulted in important innovations. Beyond the innovations such as devices that turn water into an effective cleaning solution; paper made with agricultural waste and rapidly renewable fibers; plastic can liners with 70 percent post-consumer recycled content; laundry and ware washing operations that reduce chemicals, energy and water; backpack vacuums with powerful new battery technologies; are just some of the examples of innovative new cleaning technologies. This session will focus on innovative Green Cleaning technologies that are easy to implement and that can save you money.
1. Indicate which product categories are experiencing growth in the use of new green cleaning technologies
2. Identify specific types of green cleaning products and discuss their usability
3. Verify ways to implement green cleaning technologies and discuss their impact on a facility’s budget
